Hamisht'e BaMeara
A play that gathers experiences of blindness and visual impairment in the duality between invisible and visible
“And if someone would pull out from the cave, the so-called blind girl, up through the rough and steep path, if that someone won't let go until he'd pulled her out under the sun? Wouldn't she suffer in agony? Wouldn't she get mad when she'll arrive under the day light? As brightness will whip her eyes and she won't be able to see one thing out of the “real things”, as they are called now?"

How many blind people are required to create blindness? With an open heart and with eyes wide open, the play Hamisht'e BaMeara (The Banquet in the Cave) gathers some of the experiences of blindness and visual impairment in the duality between invisible and visible.
Jose Saramago, Jorge Luis Borges, H. J. Wallace, Plato, the poet Dylan Thomas, Dr. Michal Naftale and Mali Azran and her shadow, are hosting the crowd in a banquet in the cave.
