An ensemble work, based on the stories of four women, of different backgrounds, that get together on one stage in a small country. A close and unmediated gathering of strong and brave women, that lived in different times and now draw the spectator into their personal inner world, while effecting their surrounding. The four women lived in Israel, changed its society and contributed to the promotion of an educational agenda that calls for gender equality.
Edis De Philip – founded the Israeli Opera in 1947.
Recha Freier – was awarded the Israel Prize for her contribution to society and to the State of Israel. Founded the Youth Aliyah in Berlin in 1932 and saved hundreds of children and youth from the Nazis.
Ada Maimon (born Fishman) – leader and social activist that fought for gender equality and women rights and their right to vote in the democratic State of Israel.
Vicky Shiran – an Israeli sociologist and criminologist and a poet. known for her social and academic struggles in favor of a dialogue with the Palestinians. Was among the founders of the “Black Panthers”.
