Drama & Dance in Darkness

A Postdramatic performance of blind, visually impaired and seeing performers,Jewish and Arabs

"Art, and not morality, is the essential metaphysical human activity. The existence of the world is justified only as an aesthetic phenomenon. Under everything that happens, there is a totally unthinking and amoral artist or "God", if you will."

Birth of Tragedy, Nietzsche

A Postdramatic performance, that joins together blind, visually impaired and seeing performers, Jewish and Arab.

A collage of texts,  some of which are personally written by the performers, some are taken from the Hebrew culture and some are known Philosophical texts. On Stage the performers create images through motion and sound, and speak in different languages, Hebrew, English, Arabic and Gibberish. The white cane is now out of context and it turns into a paintbrush or a sword, a puppeteer and more.
